Mindfulness + MentalHealth + Wellness
A proactive approach to social emotional wellness.
Hello, I’m Jaclyn! I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist, a certified Mindful Schools Educator, a mama of three and an author of a children’s mindfulness book, Eagle Eyes. I designed this Mindful Trail Blog as an offering to parents, teachers and/or youth to provide research based tools, creative mindfulness ideas and a hint of psychoeducation on mental health.
My hope is to weave together my own research, professional experience, and personal journey in this blog—sharing it in a way that feels both educational and encouraging.
It Takes a Village—For the Child and the Parent
As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child—and just as importantly, it takes a village to support a parent. When we show up for one another as a community, we create a foundation where children can grow up feeling safe, supported, and nurtured.
In my own small corner of the world, I’ve had the opportunity to share helpful resources with families around me. Through this blog, my hope is to plant more seeds of support, connection, and care—reaching a wider online village that believes in fostering the emotional well being of our youth.
